Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics. Google Analytics stores information in Google servers in the United States of America. Google may provide this information to third parties if they are legally required to do so, or if these third parties process this information at Google’s request. Google states that it adheres to the privacy laws in the countries in which it operates.

We have taken measures to protect your personal data. We have entered into a processing agreement with Google and have set up Google Analytics in accordance with the guidelines of the Personal Data Authority. Among other things, this means that the last quarter of your IP address is masked, and we have prohibited Google from using the collected information for other Google services. Provision of personal data to third parties

We may share your personal data with our processors (for example, our hosting parties). We endeavor to ensure that these processors have a level of security that is proportionate to the risks related to the processing of the personal data. We have entered into a processor agreement with our processors to ensure that the processing is done according to our instructions and within the boundaries of the AVG.

Personal data security

We are committed to the security of data we process. For example, we ensure that your data is securely stored and only accessible by authorized employees. Furthermore, we ensure that as little data as possible is stored, that employees only have access to information that is necessary for them, that our software and hardware is kept up-to-date, that regular backups are made, and that sensitive information is processed with additional encryption if necessary. Data that is no longer needed and for which the retention period has expired is deleted. Employees of eMagiz sign a confidentiality agreement by which they declare not to share unauthorized personal data with other persons or organizations. Finally, data is not processed outside the EU.

Your rights

You have the following rights with respect to your personal data for which we act as the processor. In the event that we are not the processing controller, please contact the processing controller to exercise your rights. We will then work with this controller to ensure that you can exercise your rights.

  • The right to request deletion of your personal data;
  • The right to request restrictions on the processing of your personal data;
  • The right to object to the processing of your personal data;
  • The right to data portability;
  • In the event that our processing basis is consent, the right to withdraw this consent at any time, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing for withdrawal of consent;
  • The right to lodge a complaint with the regulator.

If you wish to exercise your rights, please send your request to the email address listed above. For your and our protection, we may need to further identify you before we will carry out your request. We will comply with your request to the extent required by law. If you feel that you have not received a satisfactory response from us, please contact the regulator in your country.

Newsletter

If you sign up for our newsletter, we require your name and a valid email address, as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the email address provided and that you agree to receive this newsletter. We store your IP address as a technical measure to protect our service. No additional data is collected or collected only on a voluntary basis. We only use this data to send the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.

We will therefore process any data you enter in the contact form only with your consent per Art. 6 (1) (a) AVG. You can revoke the consent for the storage of your data and e-mail address and their use for sending the newsletter at any time, e.g. via the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. Data processed before we receive your request may still be legally processed.

Data provided when registering for the newsletter are used to distribute the newsletter until you cancel your subscription when this data will be deleted. Data we have stored for other purposes (e.g. email addresses for the members’ area) will remain unaffected.
